Effective from 1st July 2013, Halal Assurance Management System (HAMS) had
becomes one of the requirements in the application of Halal Certification by JAKIM (Jabatan
Kemajuan Islam Malaysia) especially for Multinational company. In order to obtain Halal
Certification, company should fullfill and prepared with HAMS manual and ensure the
implementation of HAMS. This programme will provide intensive knowledge, understanding
and guidelines on HAMS for participant to establish a control system to ensure integrity and
safety on the production for halal products and provision services.
1. To provide understanding on Halal Assurance Management System (HAMS).
2. To provide guidelines on developing and establish HAMS in company.
3. To identify and determine Halal Critical Point in the operation process and throughout the
food chain.
